Purpose:
The festival "Through Refugee Eyes" has been organized and came
about due to our desire to interact, share and understand the
plight of refugees around the globe.
Peacetune would like to help promote an understanding of what
"being a refugee" means, and how this relates to a Non-Violence
concept and philosophy.
There are refugees from all walks of life including highly respected
teachers, engineers, arists, mothers, sisters and brothers.
Among them are also many children who posess magnificent talents,
hopes, dreams, desires and ambtions.
When will we be able to meet their hopes, dreams, desires and ambtions?
When will we be able to create an environment to cultivate their talents.
When will we be able to create a society without refugee?
We strongly believe, awareness is a key that can help unlock the door
to understanding, compassion, and eventually a better life for all refugees.
This charity event "Through Refugee Eyes" will provide a great
hope for
those who need it most. Your support is greatly appreciated.
